Polystyrene Foam
Polystyrene Foam is EPS or Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS) is the PS foam using Pentane (C5H12) as the sandwich panel with PS PU PUR PIR FOAM PANELS which is the same as Butane (C4H10). It is the Blowing Agent. During the production process of Polymerization, the PS will react to store Pentane inside. When it is used to produce EPS, the raw materials will expand and it will be heated from Steam to become the white foam beads. After that, it will be Molded.
1.2 Block Molding and being cut into the sizes and shapes as demanded. Generally, EPS will expand for around 50 times. When being expanded and the air enters, it will be replaced up to 98% of the volume. Only 2% is PS. This is the reason making the foam in big size to have light weight. These features make EPS be able to support the impact well and be suitable for being used in containing the products. It can also support the weight vertically without deforming. Therefore, it is used as the material for constructing the road in order to solve the problem of sinking road. It can also be used as the insulator to preserve the heat and coldness. As it contains the air up to 98%, it can function as the good insulator.
Expanded polystyrene Foam (EPS) has the outstanding properties which are:

2. EPS can support the weight of over 2,000 kg.
3. EPS has the properties of being the insulator more than other materials.
4. EPS used in the construction is in the self-extinguished type.
5. EPS contains no toxin.
